We did better than we were expecting.

We were surprised by the strength of iPhone 7 Plus where we were actually short of supply throughout the quarter. We've been able to come into supply-demand balance in January.

We will double the size of the services business over the next four years.

Explaining why the outlook was short of analyst consensus, he said: Foreign exchange is a bit of a problem for Apple and any U.S. company that has any business overseas. The dollar is very strong.

The iPhone 7 is the most popular model but the 7 Plus, when we look at the mix of the new products, this is the year where the mix has skewed more towards the 7 Plus than in previous cycles.

Sales of other products declined because of declining iPod and display sales, as well as tough sales comparisons with TV the previous year.

 

애플은 화요일 (미국시각) 2017년 회계년도 1분기 (12월 분기) 실적을 발표했다. 애플은 12월 분기에 매출 784억 달러, 주당순이익 $3.36, iPhone 판매는 7800만대라고 발표했다.

그리고 iPad 판매는 1300만 대, 맥 판매는 530만 대, iPhone 평균판매가격은 $694이라고 말했다. 애플은 또한 3월 분기 매출 전망은 515억 달러에서 535억 달러 사이가 될 것이라고 말했다. 특히 iPhone 판매와 매출은 애플로서는 사상최고 기록을 경신한 것이다.
